Reservation policy

Anyone wishing to stay at Mi-clos must make an online reservation in advance and receive an e-mail confirmation of the reservation made at Mi-clos.

There is no minimum number of nights required to make a reservation, except on weekends.

  • Check-in time is 4:00 pm
  • Check-out time is 12:00 (noon)

Earlier arrivals and departures are possible at an additional cost.

You must be of legal age according to provincial legislation to reserve one or more domes. In addition, you agree to make reservations only for your personal needs, as well as for those of any person whose stay you are authorized to reserve. All reservations made by you on mi-clos.com must be made in good faith and in compliance with the law. We reserve the right to cancel or modify a reservation in the event of any appearance of fraudulent or inappropriate conduct on your part, as well as any error or inaccuracy in the reservation.

Cancellation policy

Reservations made on the website become effective upon receipt of the reservation fee. In the event of refusal of authorization by the financial institution, Mi-clos reserves the right to cancel the reservation without compensation.

Mi-clos reserves the right to cancel any reservation in the event of a major situation, giving priority to relocation within the establishment, without compensation.

“In the event of a modification or cancellation of a reservation, the guest must notify Mi-clos in writing at least 30 days prior to the stay. Without such notice, the reservation amount will be retained in full. No refunds will be issued within 30 days of the arrival date. A 5% cancellation fee of the total reservation amount applies to any refund at all times.

In the event of a no-show or last-minute cancellation, Mi-clos will claim 100% of the stay and will have the option of re-letting the dome from midday on the following day. These conditions also apply in the event of an error by the customer at the time of booking (error in date, number of domes, length of stay, etc.).

Check-in time is 4pm. Early arrivals are possible subject to dome availability. Written authorization is required for early arrivals. 

Departures must be made before 12:00 pm. No late departures without written authorization.

Weather conditions

Mi-clos is a four-season nature destination, and stays take place rain or shine. Weather conditions (rain, snow, freezing rain, storms, etc.) therefore do not constitute a valid reason for cancellation or refund.

In the event of exceptional weather conditions that may make access to the property difficult, we may, at our discretion and subject to availability, offer the possibility to move the stay to a nearby date. Rescheduling to far-off dates, future weekends, or high-demand periods is not possible.

Our goal is to offer reasonable flexibility when circumstances require it, while respecting the limited availability of our domes.

Lodging conditions

Mi-clos reserves the right to refuse entry to any customer whose dress is deemed indecent or negligent, as well as to any customer whose behavior is aggressive, noisy or improper, or who appears intoxicated. The same applies to customers whose behavior is contrary to public morality and order. Any customer expelled for these reasons will not be entitled to any refund.

Terms of payment

A deposit corresponding to 100% of the total amount of the accommodation, including taxes (GST, QST, taxes on accommodation), is required at the time of booking. Payment methods accepted are those offered by STRIPE.

Opening and service times

Mi-clos reserves 48 hours for any request requiring special action by the team. Gift certificates may take up to 3 business days to be delivered. Service calls and text messages will be answered the same day for guests staying on site, and within a reasonable time for those staying in the future. The service phone line is primarily used to serve customers on the Mi-clos site.

Entry Code (Digital Keys)

Unless otherwise agreed by Mi-clos in advance, guests may not access their dome before 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. An access code will be provided by Mi-clos for the duration of the stay.

Mi-clos reserves the right to access the dome during the stay. Mi-clos may enter the premises in the event of suspicion, a complaint, or a major issue. If the situation is not urgent, Mi-clos will notify the guest of the visit at least two hours in advance.

Parking spaces

Mi-clos rental units offer, subject to availability, one individual parking space in front of each unit. Please note that these parking spaces are located on a steep slope, and a 4×4 vehicle is recommended in unfavorable weather conditions.

All vehicles circulating on the property must be in good condition, including their tires. In winter, alternative parking is available for vehicles that do not have four-wheel drive.

Please note that Mi-clos is not responsible for towing services on the property at any time of the year. Furthermore, Mi-clos cannot be held responsible for theft or damage occurring in the parking area or on access roads.

Equipment in the domes

The domes are equipped with various amenities to enhance short stays. Please note that Mi-clos does not provide additional bedding or extra items free of charge upon guest request. Additional fees may apply for such requests.

Cleaning after departure

All stays include standard cleaning. Guests are required to place used towels on the shower floor, load the used dishes into the dishwasher, and start the dishwasher before departure.

However, additional cleaning requiring special attention or extra time will be charged at a rate of $100 per hour. These charges will be billed to the guest.

Occupancy of the domes

Guests may not allow third parties who have not been identified to Mi-clos to enter the domes without prior authorization. Guests may not sublet a dome or occupy the dome with more people than the maximum capacity allowed for that unit.

Mi-clos is a quiet retreat and any commercial activity is strictly prohibited. In the event of non-compliance with this rule, the guest must pay the full rental fee and leave the premises immediately.

Noise and disturbances at Mi-clos

To preserve the tranquility of our property, causing noise or disturbances is strictly prohibited. Any guest who disturbs other guests will be contacted and asked to stop the behavior. If the issue persists, the guest will be required to leave Mi-clos immediately without any refund.

All noise must cease between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

It is also prohibited to use speakers or any other sound-emitting devices outside the domes, including car sound systems. Guests who do not comply with this rule will be required to leave the property.

Responsibility on the property

If a guest is accompanied by a minor, they are responsible for supervising the minor and ensuring that no damage is caused to the equipment and amenities provided.

Any damage caused by the guest or minors under their supervision will be charged to the guest, including repair and replacement costs.

Any alteration to the design or layout of the property is prohibited. Guests who intentionally or accidentally damage equipment, furniture, or items belonging to the domes will be responsible for covering all replacement, repair, and associated management costs.

Mi-clos reserves the right to charge guests for any damages caused during their stay. If additional fees are required, an invoice will be issued.

If guests leave the dome in an unacceptable condition, Mi-clos will charge an additional cleaning fee as stated above.

Prohibited Items: smoking, cannabis and vaping

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas (private and common) of Mi-clos, including the balconies of the domes. Failure to comply with this rule may result in an additional charge of $750, and legal action may be taken in the event of smoke-related damage.

The use of vaping devices, candles, and incense is also prohibited.

Any unnecessary triggering of the fire alarm caused by failure to follow these rules may result in a $1000 fee charged to the guest.

Pets and wildlife

Only dogs are permitted in the domes. Guests must reserve and pay the $70 pet cleaning fee during checkout. Only one dog per dome is allowed.

You may also encounter the owners’ dog, Jackie, who is very friendly. However, it is strictly forbidden to allow her into your dome or to feed her. Cats and other domestic animals are not permitted.

Mi-clos is located next to Mont-Orford National Park, and many wild animals are present on the property. It is strictly prohibited to feed any animals encountered on the property, whether domestic or wild.

Additionally, guests must not leave bags, food, or food packaging anywhere on the property, including on terraces or outdoor spaces of the domes.

You definitely do not want to come face-to-face with a bear or a coyote.

Forgotten personal items

Forgotten or abandoned items may be sold in accordance with applicable law. If a guest wishes to have their belongings returned by mail or courier, they must be sent with tracking and insurance for valuable items, and shipping costs must be paid by the guest.

Items left unclaimed after 30 days may be discarded or recycled.

Damage to domes or property

Guests must use the dome and the equipment provided in a reasonable manner. Domes are inspected before each stay to ensure proper functioning and general condition.

If a guest notices any issue, it must be reported to Mi-clos immediately. Guests are responsible for maintaining the dome and its equipment in good condition during their stay.

In the event of damage, Mi-clos reserves the right to charge the guest for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items. If damage is discovered after the guest’s departure, repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest.

Claims and complaints

Guests must report any dissatisfaction regarding the quality of services provided by Mi-clos immediately. However, guests may not submit complaints after the fact regarding issues related to the condition of their accommodation.

If no complaint is made within 48 hours following the end of the stay, the guest will be considered to have waived any claim against Mi-clos.

Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances shall Mi-clos be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage, loss, or injury resulting from the use of the property or these terms and conditions.

Furthermore, no guarantee is given regarding the accuracy of information about the property or its uninterrupted operation. By using the property, you fully assume the risks of any direct or indirect damage, loss, or injury that may result from such use.

Acceptance of rules and terms

All reservations at Mi-clos are subject to these rules. Any stay implies acceptance of the Mi-clos rules and policies.

Failure to comply with the above provisions will result in the immediate termination of the agreement and the charging of any associated fees. In such cases, the guest must leave the premises immediately without any compensation.
