Several eye-catching spots are within reach, both around our property and in the surrounding area.
A tourist attraction of the highest order, Orford’s colourful autumn is one of the most spectacular in North America. With maple, elm, birch, and giant oak trees donning their dazzling robes, the mountains and lakes offer exceptional panoramic views of the region’s warm fall hues.
What’s so magical at Mi-clos is that these panoramas come right to you at the domes—you don’t have to go looking for them! With unobstructed views of the mountains, each dome lets you admire the colourful surroundings while enjoying a truly relaxing stay.
The region’s microclimate is ideal for growing vines, and some of the best vineyards in the Eastern Townships can be found close to us. A short tour will allow you to compare different approaches to viticulture and see the impressive level of mastery of winemaking in northern regions, all while subtly making you thirsty!
At Domaine Bergeville, Marc and Ève produce an exceptionally clean, dry Champagne-style bubbly that ranks among the best in Quebec. The Vignoble d’Orford vineyard was recently acquired by Guylaine and Pierre, a couple with a passion for wine. They grow hybrid grape varieties that are especially resistant to harsh winters and craft fresh, fruity, well-balanced wines. Their story is just beginning…and we can’t wait for the rest! Located directly in front of Mont Orford, the vineyard also offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the Eastern Townships. Not to be missed!
Feel like popping a bottle of bubbly in a storybook pastoral setting? Cep d’Argent is one of the oldest vineyards in the Eastern Townships, with over 60 acres in production. Tastings, bottle-opening classes, and tours of the domaine are just some of the activities offered by this legendary establishment, providing the visitor an unforgettable experience in a breathtaking setting.
Established at the beginning of the last century, Saint-Benoît-Du-Lac Abbey is an architectural gem and an essential stop for any trip to the region. Overlooking Lac Memphrémagog, the monks produce a wide range of premium artisanal products. The all-enveloping peace that comes from a visit to the abbey will stay with you a long time. (The delicious products you bring back with you will unfortunately disappear pretty quickly!)

The Circuit des murales de Sherbrooke lists the city’s most outstanding murals. Sometimes spanning several stories, the 18 murals that dot the city provide striking views.
Magog’s Musée international d’art naïf is the only Canadian museum dedicated exclusively to this constantly evolving artistic genre. This institution offers a refreshing twist, as you come into contact with works that stand out from everyday life…by drawing their very artistic essence from it! The museum allows us to explore the paradoxes unique to this type of expression, which appeals to artists driven by a desire to redefine the boundaries of artistic creation.
