Yes! But to see wildlife, you need to be patient (and a bit lucky!). Our land, being adjacent to Mont-Orford National Park, features trails, a pond, and a forest frequented by a diverse range of wildlife, including deer, moose, coyotes, bears, wild turkeys, groundhogs, and more. If you’ve never seen a pekan, this might be your chance!
We often hear coyotes howling, almost always after sunset. It can be scary for some people, but they are beautiful creatures that pose virtually no danger to humans. (We still have our two legs, two arms, and seven fingers, if that reassures you).
In the spring, we are visited daily by deer, which you can observe in the early morning through your panoramic window. If you wish to sip your first coffee in their company, avoid making noise or sudden movements, as they are always on the lookout for a potential predator.
