Yes, dogs are allowed in one of our domes (one dog per dome). It is essential to keep your dog on a leash at all times and to pick up after it.<\/p>

It's important to reserve by phone when you want to bring your dog.<\/p>

An additional $60 cleaning fee will be added to your bill.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

A complete (and very comfy!) bedding set is included for your king bed, as well as 4 towels per stay (2 for the spa and 2 for the shower). You just need to bring your flip flops and your bathrobe!<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

It won\u2019t make dinner for you, but almost! In your kitchen, you\u2019ll find: a refrigerator, an induction cooktop, a small AirFryer-type oven, knives (that actually cut, which is a plus), all the necessary dishes and utensils for two people, and a dishwasher (otherwise, it wouldn\u2019t be a vacation).<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

\n \n What\u2019s the distance between the parking and the domes?<\/span>

Each dome has its own parking space, located directly in front of it. As the trail is quite steep and climate change has not yet put an end to our Quebec winters, we provide an alternative parking space for the cold season for our visitors who DO NOT have a 4\u00d74 vehicle. The maximum distance between the winter parking and the domes is 200m.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

Our land features a main trail that crosses the entire property. You can admire our forest of mature pines, our sugar maple grove and its sugar shack, our stream and our pond, as well as the endearing wildlife they shelter (which, however, does not belong to us). And if you walk with your dog (with a leash), please pickup behind her.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

The WiFi signal in the domes varies between 10 and 100 megabits, which is generally considered high speed. It\u2019s probably insufficient for hosting a 4-console online gaming tournament, but definitely perfect for streaming a movie while your significant other racks up likes on their favorite platform!<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

Since the view from your terrace is completely unobstructed and our immediate neighbor, the National Park, produces no light at night (except for a security light for airplanes at the top of the mountain), mi-clos is an exceptional place to contemplate the stars and intergalactic phenomena. We think that it is in our meadow where humans and extraterrestrials will one day meet\u2026 after all, the domes have that somewhat lunar quality, don\u2019t they?<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

\n \n How far are the ski slopes and lakes?<\/span>

According to Google Maps, the Mont-Orford ski center is located 10 km away from mi-clos, which is a 10-minute drive (it\u2019s even faster as the crow flies, but less practical for carrying skis). Lake Fraser is 4 km away (7 minutes by car), Lake Stukely is 8 km away (8 minutes by car), and Lake Memphremagog is 13 km away (13 minutes by car).<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

\n \n Is it possible to observe wildlife on the property?<\/span>

Yes! But to see wildlife, you need to be patient (and a bit lucky!). Our land, being adjacent to Mont-Orford National Park, features trails, a pond, and a forest frequented by a diverse range of wildlife, including deer, moose, coyotes, bears, wild turkeys, groundhogs, and more. If you\u2019ve never seen a pekan, this might be your chance!<\/p>

We often hear coyotes howling, almost always after sunset. It can be scary for some people, but they are beautiful creatures that pose virtually no danger to humans. (We still have our two legs, two arms, and seven fingers, if that reassures you).<\/p>

In the spring, we are visited daily by deer, which you can observe in the early morning through your panoramic window. If you wish to sip your first coffee in their company, avoid making noise or sudden movements, as they are always on the lookout for a potential predator.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

Bird enthusiasts? You\u2019re in for a treat! If you go for a walk in the forest very early in the morning, you might see our barred owls and other birds of prey. And if you visit in the spring, you will be richly rewarded! Our favorite ornithologist, Olivier Barden, has identified more than 70 species on the property.<\/p>

Each dome has a private spa, integrated on a private terrace, offering fabulous privacy, with a view of the highest mountains in the Eastern Townships (which are not private, but whose splendor you can share with your loved one!) \u2014 and of course, the stars.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>

Aha. THE question. We shower to avoid clogging the spa\u2019s jets with moisturizing or sunscreen creams. Because a spa without jets is boring.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>
