With more than 15 trails stretched over 50 km in classic cross-country and nearly 26 km in skate skiing, the Mont-Orford ski area offers one of the most complete cross-country skiing experiences in all of Quebec. Equipment rental is also available on site.\u00a0<\/p>

The national park\u2019s snowshoe trails will take you to the summits of our mountains or to the shores of our lakes. It\u2019s the ideal place to spot the region\u2019s spectacular wildlife. And if you\u2019re in the mood for a shorter outing, set off directly from your dome on an expedition through our forest in search of owls, moose, or \u201cour\u201d pack of coyotes.\u00a0<\/p>

Running along the largest lake in the Eastern Townships, the Sentier glac\u00e9 de Magog<\/a> is an impressive 3 km trail that lets you show off your skills as a skater (or faller)! Located directly on the shores of Lac Memphr\u00e9magog, you\u2019ll enjoy stunning frozen vistas as you glide along. Skate rentals on site\u2026and a well-deserved treat at the end! It\u2019s -40 out and the Weather Channel is announcing that today\u2019s headwind will seriously threaten the survival of earlobes of all kinds. It\u2019s time to head to Sherbrooke for an (indoor) cultural experience!<\/p>

Sherbrooke\u2019s Mus\u00e9e Nature Sciences<\/a> offers a scientific and historical tour combining exploration of the animal kingdom (the AlterAnima permanent exhibit) and archaeological discoveries (exhibits of Abenaki artifacts). The Terra Mutant\u00e8s multisensory show, which retraces the evolution of the region\u2019s landscapes in an immersive experience\u2014including continental drift and lava fields\u2014is well worth the trip!<\/p>
