The Parc national du Mont-Orford is an oasis of adventure for outdoor enthusiasts. This exceptional park\u2014one of the largest protected areas in southern Quebec\u2014offers a multitude of year-round activities, with its picturesque trails, acclaimed ski resort, and magnificent golf course. What\u2019s more, the Memphremagog area is brimming with a variety of exciting activities: festivals, shows, sporting events, excursions, and other surprises to discover on the Tourisme Memphr\u00e9magog<\/a> or Tourisme Cantons-de-L\u2019Est<\/a> websites.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

If you were to throw a dart at the centre of the most beautiful lakes in the Eastern Townships, Domaine Mi-clos would be the bull\u2019s eye. Swimming in a crystal-clear lake in the national park, canoeing through a bird reserve, live band and dinner cruises, waterskiing and quiet fishing: there are tons of options for water enthusiasts.\u00a0<\/p>

  • Lac Fraser<\/strong>: located less than 5 km from Mi-clos (5 minutes by car), it\u2019s the ideal place to kayak, SUP, dive off a rocky ridge, or simply enjoy a quiet beach. Located directly in the national park, it\u2019s a local secret\u2026and our favourite!<\/li>
  • Lac Memphr\u00e9magog<\/strong>: our largest lake, over 40 km long. All kinds of water sports are available: sailing, windsurfing, pontoon boats, speed boats, and even cruises with gourmet meals and live bands. Sitting and admiring it for hours on end is also an option.<\/li>
  • Lac Stukely<\/strong>: Offering some of the most panoramic views in the area, Lac Stukely, the jewel in the crown of the national park, is hemmed in by the Mont Orford and Mont Chauve ranges. Its beach is one of the most popular in the region, and you can enjoy magnificent hikes around the surrounding peaks.\u00a0<\/li>
  • Grand Lac Brompton<\/strong>: a sanctuary for migratory birds, Lac Brompton stretches nearly 17 km between Route 220 and Route 222. Largely protected, it\u2019s the ideal place for canoe and kayak trips, where you\u2019ll encounter a staggering number of bird species (geese, loons, golden eagles, etc.).<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    A taste of summer: S\u00c9PAQ hikes and trails<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The national park is home to over 80 km of hiking trails, suitable for all levels. The trails wind between dense forests, clear lakes, and mountain peaks offering breathtaking vistas. Accessible to novice and experienced hikers alike, each trail promises total immersion in the natural beauty of the Eastern Townships.<\/p>

    • The Boucle du Mont-Chauve is one of the most popular classic trails for its exceptional panoramic views. It\u2019s also very accessible. The loop takes between 2.5 and 4 hours of fast or gentle walking to complete!<\/li>
    • If you\u2019re the sporty type, climbing Mount Orford via the ski slopes is a good 1:30\u20132-hour round-trip workout. Bonus: it\u2019s free and you can bring your dog!<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

      • the Massawippi and du Sommet sections of the V\u00e9loroute des Grandes-Fourches\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
